Apparently this is what self-improvement looks like now.
I got myself a mini keyboard — the kind that's shaped like a game controller, fits right in your hands, touchpad in the middle. Looks unhinged. Works perfectly. And I've decided that the best way to get better at typing on it is to play a game that literally won't let you progress unless you type correctly.
Nanotale: Typing Chronicles. You walk up to a mushroom, press spacebar, and then you have to type the word above it to analyze it. The forest does not care if you're slow. The forest waits.
It's humbling, honestly. But also kind of genius — because I'm not thinking about typing, I'm thinking about the mushroom. And somehow that makes it better.
We'll see how fast I get.
